Featuring Legends of Ska, Finley Quaye, East Star All Stars- supported by DaNny and Tahnee. A great night of rock, reggae and ska!
Continuing on from the success of Jump Fest in February 2009, JUMP Media are holding their second annual one day music festival. JUMP Fest will once again showcase the talents of local bands and musicians and end with 3 major international acts, Finley Quaye, Easy Star All Star, and Legends of Ska.
The local line up consists of two top local singer/songwriters, Tahnee, and DaNny all warming up to the nights leading international acts, Finley Quaye, Easy Star All Star and Legends of Ska. The night will have something for everyone with a mix of genres, from rock, to reggae, and Ska!

FINLEY QUAYE
He is currently working on a new album with A Guy Called Gerald & The Stereo MCs. Finley recorded "Pound For Pound" in 2007 with Reggae veteran Norman Grant of The Twinkle Brothers featuring Sly Dunbar and Lloyd Parks. In the past he has worked with Osibisa, both on stage and in the studio, with Iggy Pop, Tricky, Primal Scream, Lee Scratch Perry and Buju Banton.
EASY STAR ALL- STARS:
The Easy Star All-Stars, have been a resounding success. The band has played at major festivals and headlined shows in over 20 countries on 5 continents. Their worldwide album sales have surpassed 250,000 units since 2003, with Dub Side of the Moon spending over 5 years on Billboard’s Reggae Chart. MOJO picked Dub Side as the second best cover album of all time. Radiodread spent almost 2 years on Billboard’s Reggae Chart and earned praise from the members of Radiohead themselves!

FINLEY QUAYE
When Finley Quaye burst onto the British Music scene in 1997 his debut album Maverick A Strike quickly established him as one of the few truly innovative artists around. He won the 1997 Mobo Award for best Reggae act, and the 1998 BRIT Award for Best British Male Solo Artist. In late 1997 he reached the UK Top 20 twice with "Sunday Shining", and "Even After All". His reputation was established by Maverick A Strike, an adventurous but accessible album released in September 1997. It went gold less than three weeks later, and led directly to the BRIT Award victory. Maverick A Strike is now multi platinum.
EASY STAR ALL- STARS:
Combining musical versatility, instrumental prowess, beautiful vocal harmonies and a superb rhythm section, the Easy Star All-Stars have established themselves as one of the top international reggae acts since their live debut in 2003. They rock every crowd they play for, whether it’s to thousands at festivals or hundreds at club gigs and private events (like the wedding of NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg’s daughter). Thanks to their best-selling tribute album releases, Dub Side of the Moon (2003) and Radiodread (2006), as well as Until That Day (2008), an original EP, the Easy Star All-Stars have built a growing, dedicated fan base throughout the world, bringing together fans of reggae, classic rock, dub and indie rock into one big family.
