The evening will feature live music from Tahnee, DaNnY and UK up- and- comers Wild Palms as well as the draw for the winner of the grand prize- a VIP trip to attend the Rip Curl Pro Search event in Portugal! Entrants for the prize draw must have already spent 250 AED on Rip Curl merchandise and have received their entry ballot from the store. About The Rip Curl Pro Search 2009:
It's an exciting year for the Rip Curl Pro Search, as they're headed to another new and exciting location, and they have invited the ASP Women's World Tour on The Search, as well as the world's best male surfers. They're headed to Peniche, Portugal, and the wave of choice is called Supertubos (also known as the "European Pipeline"). It's a powerful A-frame barrel that handles waves up to 4- 5m.
The event has had an amazing run of success over the past four years, being held previously in Reunion Island, Mexico, Chile and Bali. Rip Curl are excited to see what Portugal delivers and are now counting down the days!
About the UAE Competition:
How to enter: Visit any of the participating Beyond The Beach stores or the Rip Curl Store in Mall of the Emirates, spend 250 AED and receive your entry ballot
What You Win: The lucky winner and a guest will win a trip to Peniche, Portugal from October 18th to 25th to go and watch the Rip Curl Pro Search!
The prize includes economy class tickets to Portugal, VIP treatment at the event, daily transportation to and from the event and US$ 100 spending money per day.
The Party: The winner will be announced at the Rip Curl Pro Search Party organised by JUMP Media on Friday, October 2nd at The Irish Village from 8pm. Entrants must register at the door, presenting their entry ballot stub they received after previously making a Rip Curl purchase. Upon registration entrants will receive a wrist band allowing access to the Rip Curl VIP area.
Remember entrants must be at the Rip Curl Pro Search Party to win!
