- PUMA
sponsored the editor of 7Days, who was running for charity in the Marathon
- The
editor had all his sports clothing for the Marathon
provided by PUMA
- PUMA
made a sizeable donation to the charity
- 5
pages of editorial in the lead up to the marathon were sponsored by PUMA
featuring running tips, product features and a post- Marathon
feature.
The PUMA Turn
- PUMA
sponsor the half way point of the Marathon
which is now officially known as the PUMA Turn.
- A
radio campaign on Coast FM promoted the events at the PUMA Turn in the
lead up to the marathon and the DJs were at the turn on the day
broadcasting live
- A
PUMA breakfast and refreshments were provided
- The
area was totally branded PUMA using bow flags, bean bags, branded DJ booth
and promotional staff
- PUMA
cheerleaders were stationed at the turn to cheer each and every runner on
and add to the atmosphere
- Prizes
and giveaways were distributed to all present
The Marathon Village-
start/finish line
- PUMA
had a mini store in the Village selling PUMA products
- The
Xtreme Free Runners were brought in from the UK and performed on the PUMA
obstacle course every 20 minutes entertaining the crowds

Toyota FJ Cruisers were PUMA branded and used as part of the obstacle
course
- A
giant inflatable blimp was installed as a signpost to the PUMA area in the
village and as an amazing floating advert!

Cocktail Reception- Raffles Hotel
- VIPs
and Dignitaries were invited to a private cocktail reception on the
evening of the Marathon
- The
area was PUMA branded
- An
amazing saxophone player performed to create ambience
Official PUMA After- Marathon Party- Plan B Nightclub
- A
party was held after the cocktail reception for the VIP guests and also
all other runners and friends of the Marathon
- The
night club was heavily PUMA branded
- Entertainment
was provided by a DJ, the Xtreme Free Runners and live performance by the funk
band Abri, who are endorsed by PUMA

through the media, PR and direct contact with the consumer. JUMP created a more
than memorable brand experience at every stage throughout the entire campaign-
from dietary advice by PUMA in the press to an amazing PUMA show at the
Marathon Village and finally to a great party in the evening!
